Black Girl Ventures (BGV) is a nonprofit VC aimed at creating equal access to capital, capacity and community for Black and Brown women-identifying founders. BGV opened in 2016 with pitch competitions in the DC area and has since spread to many cities across the nation. In 2020, BGV had to pivot to online pitch competition. 2022, BGV is back to hosting in-person events.
The objective of this campaign is to spread awareness about the BGV Pitch Tour, the communities and resources that BGV offers. There will be a contest for the best pictures across social will the hashtag Community or Nothing as well as recap and prerecorded videos to increase awareness and engagement.
